It’s the only book, other than the Bible, that Blaise Pascal kept after cleaning out the rest of his library near the end of his life. It is considered the worlds first autobiography and is certainly one of the most important texts in all of Western civilazation. Augustine’s is a timeless story of youthful rebellion and lustful passions warring with an earnest desire to know himself and his God.
Whether you are an atheist, agnostic, or believer; whether your faith is rock solid or hanging on by a thread—you are welcome and encouraged to join us!
Books will be provided by Alcuin Study Center for all registered attenders.
