We’re going to explore three New Testament passages that are often misinterpreted or misunderstood, according to Todd Larson, Kingdom Advisor with Larson, Reynolds and Associates in Fort Wayne, IN.

Luke 16:1-14

The Parable of the Shrewd Manager (or “Does God really want me to cheat people?”)

2 Corinthians 8:11-15; 9:1-15

God Loves a Cheerful Giver (or “Should I tithe when I’m cranky?”)

Mark 10:17-31

The Eye of the Needle (or “So…rich people can’t go to heaven?”)

Todd Larson grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and has now been living in Fort Wayne for 25 years. He and his wife Jill have five children, and the family loves to root on local sports, courtside at Mad Ant basketball games, his kid’s soccer games and enjoying summer evenings at Parkview Field.

Outside of the office, Todd is a cook and a cake decorator who loves experimenting with new recipes and designs to share with his family and friends. He even made his own wedding cake!

In his free time, Todd loves to read. He reads at least a book a week. He is a community leader and speaker on both Biblical stewardship and financial advising.
