Shakespeare was not only an expert wordsmith, he was also a great observer of human nature. Macbeth explores the effects of unbridled ambition and spiritual equivocation on the soul of a human being.
This is not a drama class, but we will face our fears of Elizabethan English and get some practice performing as we dig into the theological implications of The Scottish Play.
In addition, we will examine the theology behind the literature and learn to cultivate the moral imagination through the reading and appreciation of story and stage play.
